Learn More About What’s Included
All Microsoft 365 commercial subscribers receive a set of core Agent 365 capabilities at no additional cost, including basic agent identity, inventory visibility, and foundational admin governance. Premium capabilities require a paid Agent 365 license and include:
- Agent Registry: A centralized inventory of all agents in your organization, including Microsoft-built agents, third-party ecosystem agents, and shadow agents. IT admins can view adoption, activity, and agent health in a single dashboard, and quarantine unauthorized agents.
- Access Control: Each agent receives a unique agent ID with policy-based and adaptive access controls, ensuring agents operate with least-privilege access to reduce risk.
- Security & Compliance: Deep integration with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Purview applies your existing licensed protections and policies directly to agents, with full audit logging of all agent interactions.
- Advanced Analytics & Governance Policies: Role-specific dashboards give security leaders, IT admins, and business stakeholders tailored visibility into agent risk, performance, and value.
- Third-Party Agent Coverage: Agent 365 covers agents built on Microsoft AI platforms as well as agents from ecosystem partners, with registry sync available for AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud environments.
