Dynamics 365 Customer Service Licensing is based on two main usage metrics:ย Unified People andย Interacted People. Unified People refers to the total number of individual profiles created by combining data from different systems. Interacted People, on the other hand, counts those individuals who have engaged with your organization through a communication channel (such as receiving an email or submitting a form) within the past 12 months. If no interaction occurs during that time, the person no longer counts toward your usage limit. Each license also includes a monthly allowance of outbound interactions, typically up to ten times the number of Interacted People, across supported channels. These interactions are subject to Microsoftโs fair usage guidelines to ensure consistent performance across environments.
